David W. Clark is the founder and owner of the Wheaton, Illinois, law firm where he is a solo practitioner focused on the areas of personal injury, workers' compensation, and limited scope representation/pro se help. With more than 25 years of legal experience devoted to personal injury law and those who have been injured in the workplace, Mr. Clark is licensed to practice in all state and federal courts in Illinois and is also admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court. He is also a certified civil arbitrator and mediator.

David has served in numerous leadership roles at the DuPage County Bar Association (DCBA), and he is currently serving on the Lawyer Referral Service oversight committee. In this role, he successfully launched the “Ask a Lawyer Help Desk” at the DuPage County courthouse to provide basic legal assistance to pro se litigants in small claims court and in landlord/tenant disputes. He is also a volunteer with Administer Justice and works with their Legal Aid Clinic.

In 2012, David Clark was selected for the prestigious Award for Excellence in Pro Bono Service from the United States District Court, in conjunction with the Chicago Chapter of the Federal Bar Association.

Mr. Clark received his Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors with a double major in Speech Communication and English from Indiana University in 1989. He received his Juris Doctorate degree from Loyola-University of Chicago School of Law in 1992. In addition to the DCBA, David is also a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association.

Mr. Clark is a former local Boy Scout Leader and proud member of the Boy Scouts of America, having achieved their highest rank as an Eagle Scout in 1982. During his free time, he volunteers his legal talent to Administer Justice and their Legal Aid Clinic each month. He is an active member in Wheaton Bible Church, a church that is heavily involved in the DuPage County community. He is also an accomplished runner, having completed a marathon in every state. He has also completed an Ironman Triathlon. He tries to keep up with his children in running and cycling races and is a charter member of the 50 States Marathon Club. He has been married to his loving wife Rebecca for 27 years and is the proud father of Graham (22) and Annika (17).

Work Experience:

• Mr. Clark started his legal career working at Munday & Nathan, a prominent personal injury law firm in Chicago, where he was trying cases to verdict after his first year. While there, he also started to practice in the areas of commercial and construction litigation.
• In 1996, Mr. Clark joined Peregrine, Stime, Newman, Ritzman & Bruckner, Ltd., concentrating his practice in commercial cases, such as those involving banks, as well as continuing to represent contractors in their construction cases. While at PSNRB, Ltd., Mr. Clark retained his practice in personal injury and workers' compensation (both Plaintiff and Defense).
• Today, Mr. Clark focuses solely on the injured party in his personal injury practice, having obtained several million dollar settlements for injured Plaintiffs.
