Our client (male 52) was seriously injured in Wheaton when the Defendant driver pulled left in front of him. The driver was insured by AAA who admitted to the liability shortly after our representation began. Through hard work and our detective, we were ability to find out that the Defendant had a $1 million umbrella coverage in addition to her $250k auto liability limits (a fact initially denied by the insurance company). Our injured client had medical bills in excess for $380k and the case settled months after the accident for $1.2 million with no lawsuit filed.
  • $1.2 million for loss of eye to high school senior who was a passenger in a car struck by a semi that ran through the intersection. Trucking company and driver paid policy limits.

  • $675,000 paid to disabled former social worker whose neck surgery was ruined due to an aggressive functional capacity evaluation ordered by her employer’s worker’s compensation carrier.
  • $395,000—value of structured settlement paid by dog-owner’s insurance policy when their pet pit-bull mauled arm and face of 12 year old neighbor boy.
  • $320,000 paid by Nursing home to 60 year old daughter who lost their grandmother who was over 100 when nursing aide left patient’s bedside while she was in distress.

Workers' Compensation Cases
