Nannette Gregory

Ninnette Gregory has more than two decades of legal experience. She brings a diverse background in litigation, a passion for improving judicial access for pro se litigants and expanding pro bono service in DuPage County, and a commitment to involvement in the local community to the Law Offices of David W. Clark, P.C.

Ms. Gregory received her Bachelor of Science degree with Honors in Environmental Toxicology and a minor in Political Science from U.C. Davis in 1991. She received a Master of Studies in Law degree from Vermont Law School in 1992 and her Juris Doctorate degree from IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law in 1996.

Ms. Gregory began her legal career as a judicial law clerk to (the now late) Honorable Judge Albert Green in the Chancery Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County in Chicago. She later joined the diverse civil litigation practice of a downtown Chicago firm, where she excelled in drafting legal pleadings in state and federal court cases, including commercial real estate disputes, breach of fiduciary duty, consumer law, employment discrimination, insurance litigation, and appeals. After moving to DuPage County to start a family, she worked part-time as an associate of a Wheaton firm dedicated to environmental law.

For over two decades, Ms. Gregory has advised business owners, homeowners, and parents on a variety of legal matters, including fee disputes, contracts, consumer rights, family law, school law, and estate planning. She has also worked as a volunteer attorney with the Telephone Counseling Service of Prairie State Legal Services in Wheaton, Illinois, where she advised clients on landlord/tenant disputes, consumer rights, criminal records expungement, family law, and guardianships, among other civil matters.

During her free time, Ms. Gregory volunteers her legal talent to CASA of DuPage, where she advocates for abused and neglected children in juvenile court and accepts pro bono appointments as a CASA Guardian Ad Litem for minors subject to guardianship in probate court.

Ms. Gregory also enjoys coordinating community service events annually for families of young, talented string musicians as Co-Chair of Artists’ Serving Others, a committee of the Community School of Arts at Wheaton College.

For many years, she was an active member of Faith Builders, a Women’s Ministry of First Presbyterian Church in Glen Ellyn. She is an avid tennis player and proud “soccer mom” of two teenage boys.
